Congratulations to Linnea Lindh for receiving the Oscar II Stipend in Natural Science at Lund University for her PhD-thesis "Photophysics and Photochemistry of Iron Carbene Complexes". The Oscar II Stipend is awarded each year for the best PhD-thesis at each Faculty of Lund University during the previous year. 

In her PhD-thesis, Linnea presented several significant research findings about promising new type of iron-based complexes for sustainable solar energy conversion applications based on a combination of ultrafast spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations carried out in a collaboration between the Divisions of Computational Chemistry and Chemical Physics at the Lund University Chemistry Department.
